Wanten is an upcoming ortholinear MiniVan-compatible PCB designed by community member Pockets.
Discussion about the board can be found in the #wanten
channel in Pockets's Discord server.
Wanten is a drop-in replacement PCB for non-tray-mount MiniVan cases. Due to interference with many switch positions, Wanten has no mounting holes and will not work with tray mount cases such as the MiniVan aluminum case, MiniVan plastic case, or MFR. Wanten is compatible with most other MiniVan-compatible cases. The board supports two independently-programmable rotary encoders. Three through-hole pads are broken out to support add-on RGB LED strips. A USB-C connector is used to connect to the host.
Check the MiniVan Compatibility Matrix for detailed case compatibility information.

Wanten features a unique ortholinear layout with 12 columns. There are two sections of 1u key grids on the left and right separated by a column of 1.75u keys down the middle. Multiple bottoms rows are supported with split or standard 6u/6.25u spacebars.
Prototype Wanten boards are blue with white silk screen. The words "Wanten by qpockets" are written in exposed solder on the front of the board. A reset button is located on the rear of the PCB between the spacebars and MCU.
