DCS Purple Rain is a doubleshot ABS keycap set produced by Signature Plastics. The set was sold as part of a group buy on TheVanKeyboards.com in May 2017 and extras sold as in-stock items on the site.
¶ Design
Inspired by the guitar-playing virtuoso, DCS Purple Rain features purple modifiers, black alphas, and lavender legends. The set was produced in 1-2-3-3 profile which can cause profile incompatibility issues when pairing Purple Rain alphas or modifiers with keys from other sets.
¶ Kits
DCS Purple Rain was kitted specifically to fit a MiniVan and Roadkit. A total of 78 keys are included in the set. Extra keys are included to cover the Southpaw and Arrows layouts for the MiniVan, vertical 2u + and Enter keys for the macropad, as well as alternate legends for several common Fn key placements. An extra, erroneous key with the legend : / was included in each set.
