Trash Man's website is TrashMan.club
TheVanKeyboards.com was the original home for TheVanKeyboards projects. Early iterations included a catalog of items for sale, a blog, and some information about Minivan - the first TVK keyboard. Later versions of the site added reference information about other TVK keyboards (plate files, dimensions, links to order 3D printed parts) as well as a layout generator that simplified building firmware for TVK keyboards.
The oldest archived version of the site available from The Wayback Machine is from April 4, 2017. Much of the content of this wiki was pulled from archived pages.
In October 2019 TheVanKeyboards sent an email to all former customers stating that they would be closing shop. All outstanding orders were shipped and everything in the store remained available to purchase while stock remained. Once all inventory was sold the shop section of the site was removed. The rest of the site remained online as a source for resource files and hosting the QMK firmware configurator.
The site still exists and is now a mirror of the new website.
On October 27, 2020, nearly one full year after shutting down the old site, a new page was born to serve as the new home for Trash Man's projects: trashman.club
The site has been redesigned with a streamlined interface that is simple to navigate. This page lists all of the completed group buys that have run through the site.

The Configurator is a GUI-based programming aid that enables users to create keymaps and build firmware for TVK/Trash Man boards without requiring any specialized knowledge of QMK. Initially designed for TMK firmware that ran the original MiniVan, it evolved over time to generate QMK firmware and now supports more than 15 boards including several community boards that are favorites of Trash Man. Firmware for Ketch and Skiff PCBs built using Trash Man's Configurator support port scanning.
The Configurator is an open-source project and pull requests to add new boards are welcome. The code is available on GitHub: https://github.com/evangs/QMK-Configurator
