DSS Neon Nights is a doubleshot ABS keycap set produced by Signature Plastics. The set was sold as part of a group buy on Trash Man's website in September 2020.
¶ Design
Neon Nights features dark gray alphas with black modifier keys and dark gray spacebars. The legends are colored differently per row, creating a gradient that goes from yellow on the top, through green, blue and purple, and ends with pink on the bottom row. All of the non-alpha keys use text legends except for the four arrow keys which use the same large, rotated caret symbols found on DSA LightCycle. The bottom row modifiers and arrows are row 3 profile instead of row 4 to provide a more comfortable typing experience when hitting the bottom row keys with your thumbs. The up arrow is still row 4 profile which may affect users who prefer all of their arrows along the bottom row. The full-size 6.25u spacebar is produced in DSS profile while all of the shorter spacebars are concave DSA profile blanks.
¶ Kits
DSS Neon Nights is comprised of a single base kit designed fit the majority of 40% keyboards that were available in late 2020. A total of 86 keys are included in the set.
